Driving Drunk Affects Everyone
Cinco de Mayo is a night of fun here in the US, but it’s also a night of danger. Driving drunk not only affects the person behind the wheel, but others on the road as well. Crashes on and off the job have far-reaching financial and emotional effects on employees, their coworkers and families. Creating a culture of safe and socially dependable driving is essential for reducing deaths and casualties on our roads. This calls for major changes in the attitudes and driving behaviors of all drivers, not only on their work commute but during their free time as well. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has put together a kit of drunk driving awareness materials, that you can use to create an in-house campaign for your employees on driving safe and responsibly during this holiday. You can find the entire list of materials here. Here are some examples.
